Can I save my Sims 3 game to my hard drive for backup?

Question by Kelly: Can I save my Sims 3 game to my hard drive for backup?
My Sims 3 game has crashed a few times, causing me to have to remake all my characters and houses all over again when i reload the game. I was wondering if anyone knew where in the folders the game saves to, so I could copy that file onto my hard drive for backup. Thanks.

Ok, look in:
My Documents, Electronic Arts, The Sims 3, Saves
Copy the save files and store them somewhere you wont forget.
